This recipe was given to use by our daughter. My husband and I love it. Because it's made in a slow cooker, it's great for parties or busy days. Ingredients:
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained |
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained |
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes, undrained |
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce |
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained |
1 envelope taco seasoning |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine the first eight ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Serve with tortilla chips. Yield: about 7 cups. |
