Taco Casserole Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
2 packages lowrey's taco seasoning |
3/4 cup water |
1 can diced tomato |
1 can chopped black olives (optional) |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese, reserve half |
1/2 package taco chips, broken apart,medium size |
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef. 2. Add the searsoning packages with 3/4 cup water. 3. Simmer for 15 minutes. 4. Add the can of tomatoes, undrained. 5. Add the onion, olives, cheddar and broken chips. 6. Mix all. 7. Place in 1 1/2 quart lightly greased casserole dish. 8. Place in the oven 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 9. Pour remaining cheese over top. 10. Bake another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. 11. Serve alone or with a salad if desired. |
