The kids love this Ingredients:
1 lb ground round |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1/2 cup tomato juice |
1 -2 tablespoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed |
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans |
1 (8 ounce) bag corn chips |
2 cups shredded lettuce |
1 large tomato, chopped |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2-1 cup shredded cheese (any kind you like) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Grease 2 qt square baking dish. 3. In large skillet brown the meat, onion and garlic. 4. Drain. 5. Stir in tomato sauce, juice, chili powder and oregano. 6. Place meat in baking dish. 7. Top with beans then corn chips. 8. Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. 9. Before serving, sprinkle with lettuce, tomato chopped onion& cheese. |
