I use this mixture for tacos, taco salad, and beef enchiladas. It's our 'all-around' taco meat mixture. Not sure on the servings/yield...never measured it before. Ingredients:
1 lb ground chuck |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1 tablespoon flour |
1 1/3 cups tomato sauce, mix with water to get total measurement |
Directions:
1. brown meat and drain. 2. add onion and garlic, stir to coat and cook on HI for 4 minutes. 3. add remaining ingredients and cook on HI for 3 minutes. 4. continue cooking on MED for 7-8 minutes. |
