This was my Nana's favorite salad dressing! I calculated about 2 tablespoons per serving as on many current salad dressing bottles, but I'm sure most people use such varying amounts that looking at the yield will be more helpful - it makes about 2 cups [2-2 1/4 cups]. Great on crisp iceberg salads! Ingredients:
1 cup salad oil |
1/2 cup white vinegar |
1/2 cup ketchup (i prefer heinz) |
1/4 cup white sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic |
1/2 medium onion, chopped fine |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and shake well before using! |
