Szehaun Beef With Snow Peas and Vermicelli |

Basically this is beef with pea pods over vermicelli nooodles Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil |
1 lb thin sliced beef |
1/4 cup frozen chopped onions |
2 teaspoons minced garlic |
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger |
2 tablespoons oil |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
3/4 beef broth |
1/3 cup hoisin sauce |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
16 ounces vermicelli, cooked according to directions |
16 ounces frozen steamer pea pods, cooked according to directions |
Directions:
1. Heat 2 TBSP oil in wok over medium heat. 2. Add beef and stir fry until cooked(1-2 minutes). 3. Transfer beef to plate; discard oil and wipe out pan. 4. Heat 2 TBSP oil in wok; brown onions, garlic and ginger. 5. Combine corn starch and beef broth, whisking unitl smooth. 6. Stir broth mixture, hoisin sauce and soy sauce into onion mixture. 7. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 8. Stir in beef. 9. Toss with hot cooked pasta and snow peas. |
