I use this pepper oil all the time. It's great with pot-stickers, steamed dumplings, etc. I make this just for myself, my husband and kids won't touch it, they think I'm nuts. Ingredients:
1 cup peanut oil |
1/4 cup dried red chili pepper, crushed (or coarsely ground) |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a wok on medium-high heat. 2. Add chili peppers. 3. Cook 3-5 minutes, or until oil becomes red. 4. Cool and store in a covered jar in fridge indefinitely. |
