Very old-time recipe-easy to make. Ingredients:
5 tablespoons raw long grain rice |
4 cups milk |
1/2 cup corn syrup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Wash rice. 2. Combine rice and remaining ingredients. 3. Grease a casserole dish the size needed to accommodate these ingredients. 4. Pour all ingredients into casserole. 5. Bake slowly at 250° for 3 hours (stir often the first hour). 6. Serve either hot Or cold. |
