I made up this recipe for my husband who is a chocoholic. He says it is better than Frenc Silk and it is oh so easy.
Ingredients:
2 cps chocolate cookie crumbs
1/4 cp melted butter
2 tbs sugar
filling
1 8 oz symphony bar
1 1/2 pts. whipping cream
1 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
extra cream and chocolate curls for garnish
Directions:
1. Crush cookies in food processor
2. add butter and sugar
3. press into 9 inch pie plate
4. bake at 350 for ten minutes
5. cool
6. melt Symphony bar over hot water
7. Slowly add to cream as it is whipping
8. add sugar and vanilla
9. Pour into pie shell
10. refrigerate till firm (at least one hour)
11. decorate with dollops of whipped cream and chocolate curls
12. This is a dedadent desert and every one will love it.
