Wonderful with garlic mashed potatoes. If one serving only required, freeze the remaining half. Ingredients:
1/2 lb round steak |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon oregano (optional) |
salt and pepper |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 small onion, sliced |
1 cup carrot |
1/2 cup celery (with leaves) |
1/4 cup green bell pepper |
1 cup tomato sauce |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix flour with oregano and salt and pepper. 2. Pound into meat. 3. Heat oil in a frypan over medium high heat and brown meat. 4. Remove to baking dish and top with veggies, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. 5. Cover and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour until meat is tender. |
