Favorite from Mom made in the pressure cooker. Ingredients:
2 lbs round steaks |
1 head celery, chopped |
1 large onion, chopped |
2 bell peppers, chopped |
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce |
6 ounces water |
1 cup parsley |
4 bay leaves |
4 garlic cloves, pressed |
Directions:
1. Flour and brown round steak (keep the drippings). 2. Remove steak and set aside. 3. Add celery, onions and bell pepper and brown in fat. 4. Add parsley, bay leaves, garlic, tomato sauce and water, stir well. 5. Add meat. 6. Pressure cook for 30 minutes. 7. Serve on a bed of rice. |
