You can use canned or frozen cooked shrimp and crabmeat. Ingredients:
180 g shrimp, small |
180 g crabmeat |
125 g swiss cheese, grated |
2 eggs, hard-cooked, chopped |
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
2 green onions, chopped |
1 dash salt |
1 loaf rye bread |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the bread. 2. Place bread on ungreased baking sheets. Broil 4-6 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. 3. Turn slices; and slice into quarters spread each with 1 rounded tablespoonful of seafood mixture. Broil 4-5 minutes longer or until heated through. |
