1 lb ground beef |
8 slices swiss cheese |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1 egg |
16 ounces tomato sauce (2 cans) |
3/4 cup milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl except for cheese. Put half of the mixture in a greased loaf pan.Put the cheese on top of the meat mixture. Then put the rest of the meat mixture on top of the cheese. 2. Bake at 350 for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. |
