Every year after Christmas I missed Hickory Farms Swiss Cheese Logs so I made-up my own recipe. I like it better than theirs! Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
5 ounces swiss cheese, grated |
1 small clove garlic, minced |
dash of hot sauce |
1/4 cup finely chopped toasted almonds |
Directions:
1. Combine cheeses in a bowl 2. Add garlic and hot sauce; mix well 3. cover with plastic wrap and chill 2-3 hours 4. Form into a log shape and roll in almond, patting in firmly 5. Chill 6. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before serving with assorted crackers |
