this is so good with crusty bread Ingredients:
1 8 oz pk swiss cheese. cut into strips |
1 3/4 cup ginger ale |
1 tbsp flour |
dash salt |
1 clove garlic |
dash of nutmeg |
french bread - cut into pieces |
Directions:
1. toss cheese and flour together. 2. rub fondue cooker with a clove of garlic. 3. pour in ginger ale. heat until bubbles rise to the surface (never let boil) 4. add cheese, 1/2 cup at a time 5. stir constantly until cheese melts. 6. continue adding cheese. 7. stir in spices. 8. serve with the french bread |
