SWISS CHEESE AND SMOKED SALMON QUICHE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hewitt Estate in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1994. Ingredients:
1 cup smoked salmon |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 1/2 cups swiss cheese grated |
1/3 cup green onions finely chopped |
1/3 cup celery |
1/4 teaspoon white pepper |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
9 inch pastry shell |
Directions:
1. Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs and cornstarch then stir in salmon, cheese, onions and pepper. 2. Pour into 9 pastry shall and bake at 350 for 35 minutes. |
