Swiss Baked Potatoes Gratin |

These potatoes rock * I always buy an extra potato or two because I I'm not so good at the thin slices. Ingredients:
6 baking potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced |
cooking spray |
1 1/4 thinly sliced onion |
1 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper, divided |
3/4 tsp salt, divided |
1/2 cup gruyere cheese, shredded |
2 tbsp butter, chilled and cut into small pieces |
3/4 cup beef broth |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 2. Coat dish with cooking spray 3. Arrange 1/3 of potatoes on bottom 4. Top with 1/3 onion slices 5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper 6. Add 1/3 of the cheese 7. Repeat layers twice, ending with cheese 8. Dot with butter and pour broth over evenly 9. Coat top layer with cooking spray 10. Bake covered for 30 minutes or until tender |
