In the 1980's in Barbers Point Hawaii, our swim team would do fundraisers. Each family would make this recipe and it would all get dumped together so we had enough to sell. It's a very sweet recipe. not spicy at all. A million times better than Manwich.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
2 cups celery
1 cup onion
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 cups catsup
Directions:
1. brown and drain first 3 ingredients.
2. add remaining 5 ingredients, simmer.
