I read about this in a magazine and thought this was a great idea for company or a quickly needed dessert. Fudge sauce is another possibility to pour over the fries! Ingredients:
1 lof of poundcake |
raspberry sauce ( home made or bottled ) or fudge sauce |
Directions:
1. Cut the pouncake into uniform sections which look like French Fries 2. Have a pitcher of Rasberry sauce( or Fuge topping or sauce ) 3. Place pouncake Fries either onto a serving platter or serve on individual plates, 4. Instruct guests to poor on the Raspberry Sauce over the poundcake fries 5. Of Course a sprtiz of whipped cream is also nice too ! 6. Note: a quick raspberry sauce is made by heating some jarred 7. seedless raspberry preserves and adding a squirt of lemon juice |
