This is our family favorite. You'll want to halve the sauce ingredients if you're serving them as an appetizer. We love them over rice. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 cup low-fat milk |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup flour |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1/2 cup molasses |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Gently combine all of the meatball ingredients. 2. Form small, bite-size meatballs, dredge in flour and brown in vegetable oil. 3. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs. 4. Bring to a low simmer and cook for 20 minutes until the meatballs are glazed and cooked through. |
