From my collection of handwritten recipes 1970-1984. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
3 tablespoons cider vinegar |
1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 small onion, sliced thin |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 lb frank, cut in chunks |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except franks in large skillet. Simmer 2-3 minutes, stirring often. Add franks and simmer 10 minutes or until franks are hot and onions are soft, stirring occasionally. |
