A sweet way to serve cabbage. Less sugar can be used if you prefer a sourer version
Ingredients:
1 head red cabbage
3 apples
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon molasses
1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Shredd cabbage, as if for slaw.
2. Seed and chop apples.
3. Combine cabbage and apples.
4. Put in crock pot.
5. Combine vinegar, water, molasses and sugar.
6. Pour over cabbage in crock pot.
7. Cook on low for 8 hours.
