10 dried shiitake mushrooms |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons sake |
2 tablespoons mirin |
Directions:
1. Soak the shiitake in cold water until soft. Remove the stems. 2. Put the shiitake in a pot with water to cover. 3. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and add all the other ingredients. 4. Continue simmering until the liquid is almost completely absorbed. |
