Perfect accompaniment to beef, pork or lamb. Found in Real Simple magazine. Ingredients:
1 medium red onion, cut vertically and then thinly sliced |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil |
2 teaspoons honey |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix together and chill for several hours before serving. 2. Use within 48 hours. |
