This wonderful recipe will be a family favorite! Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes |
2 white potatoes |
1 turnip |
6 c. of chicken broth |
1/2 c. of heavy whipping cream |
1 tbsp. of brown sugar |
1 1/2 tsp. of ground nutmeg |
2 tbsp. of margarine |
salt to taste |
ground black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. First you want to peel and cut your veggies into small chunks. 2. Next can put these in a pot and cover this with chicken stock. 3. Now bring this to a boil and let the veggies get tender. 4. Take these tender veggies and puree them in the blender. 5. Once they are creamy, return them to the pot and add in the cream, brown sugar, nutmeg, and the butter. 6. Season to taste! 7. Ladle and serve! |
