Easy delicious dessert. Works great for Thanksgiving. Ingredients:
2 (29 ounce) cans sweet potatoes |
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup corn flakes |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Melt one stick of butter and combine with sweet potatoes, regular sugar, eggs, milk, nutmeg and cinnamon. 3. Beat the mixture for 2 minutes. 4. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart, glass baking dish. 5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. 6. For topping, melt other stick of butter and combine with brown sugar, corn flakes and pecans. 7. Pour over the sweet potato mixture and bake an additional 15 minutes. 8. Enjoy! |
