Sweet Potato Puree = cannot get better that this! I got this recipe from Southern Living Magazine several years ago. This dish is requested at every family gathering! Ingredients:
6 large sweet potatoes |
3/4 cup chopped pecans |
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted |
2 eggs beaten |
1/4 cup heavy cream |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. 2. Bake sweet potatoes until done. 3. Spoon potatoes out of the skin in a large mixing bowl. 4. Add all ingredients and mix on medium until well blended. 5. Put in a casserole dish and bake in 350 F. oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot. |
