Ingredients:
1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled and quartered |
6 eggs, beaten |
3/4 pound powdered sugar |
3/4 cup butter, melted |
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon lemon peel |
1/4 cup brandy |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Boil sweet potatoes until very tender. Rub them, while hot, through a colander. Add the eggs, powdered sugar, butter, nutmeg, lemon peel, and brandy. Mix thoroughly and place in a medium Dutch Oven. Place on a bed of coals. Cook for 25 minutes or until firm. When done, sprinkle the top with sugar. |
