I have not tried this recipe. I got it from Cornell Cooperative Extension. You can use yams in place of the sweet potatoes. Ingredients:
2 lbs sweet potatoes |
1 -2 teaspoon vegetable oil |
salt |
lemon juice, if desired (optional) |
Directions:
1. Peel sweet potatoes or yams and cut into sticks or wedges. 2. In a bowl toss with oil. 3. Spread potatoes out on a baking sheet. 4. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 or until brown and tender. 5. Sprinkle with a little salt and lemon juice if desired. |
