A classic favorite....why wait until Thanksgiving to have sweet potatoes?! Ingredients:
potatoes |
3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1/3 cup milk |
1/2 cup butter |
topping |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup flour |
1/3 cup butter |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and butter. 2. Spoon into greased 2 quart casserole dish. 3. Combine brown sugar, flour, butter, and nuts. 4. Spread over top of potatoes. 5. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden. |
