This is the recipe my mother-in-law uses and it is so sweet, I would rather have this than dessert. I didn't include in the prep time, the baking and mashing of the potatoes. Ingredients:
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes |
1/2 cup butter |
2 eggs |
1 cup white sugar |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup flour |
1/4 cup butter |
1 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. 2. Combine the casserole ingredients and pour into a 9x9 baking dish. 3. Combine the ingredients for the topping to make a crumble and sprinkle over the casserole. 4. Bake for 30 minutes until casserole is set. |
