A perfect side dish for a holiday dinner. But, it's so good I could eat it any time of year! Ingredients:
3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup melted butter |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup melted butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup self-rising flour (if you use regular flour, add 1/4 tsp. baking powder) |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Combine potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, and salt. 2. Blend well. 3. Put in buttered baking dish (9x12). 4. Mix the toping and sprinkle over potatoes. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until top is brown and crusty. |
