This is a must in our home every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner-a true southern dish. Ingredients:
4 large sweet potatoes |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/3 cup milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1/2 cup flour |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Casserole 2. Bake potatoes in 350 oven. Scoup potatoes from skin and mash in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 13 x 9 pan. 3. For topping, mix all ingredients and spread over sweet potato mixture. 4. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. |
