Sweet Potato Biscuits (Ww 2 Pt) |

I received this recipe from my WW leader at a meeting. Each biscuit is 2 points. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon light butter |
1 cup mashed sweet potato |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 cup skim milk |
1 egg white |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray. 3. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and butter. 4. Then slowly mix in the sweet potatoes, cinnamon, nutmeg, and milk. 5. Stir in egg white. 6. Roll out to 1/2 inch on a lightly floured surface. Using a biscuit cutter cut out and place on baking sheet. 7. Bake 25 minutes or until they are firm in the center. |
