This yummy sweet potato bake varies from the marshmallow version and my husband LOVES it. It is always a treat when I decide to make it. We have been serving it at Thanksgiving Dinner for years! Ingredients:
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup milk |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup broken pecans |
1/3 cup flour |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup melted butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Beat all sweet potato ingredients together and pour into greased 81/2 x11 baking pan. 3. In a small bowl mix the topping ingredients together,stirring well. 4. Crumble the mixture over top of sweet potatoes. 5. Bake in oven for 35-45 minutes until sweet potatoes are set and topping looks crunchy. 6. Delicious! |
