Each serving is 1/2 cup. I found this recipe in Diabetes Self Management magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
15 ounces shoestring cut beets, drained |
1/4 cup finely diced onion |
1/4 cup white vinegar |
2 tablespoons splenda sugar substitute |
1 tablespoon water |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
1/2 teaspoon dried dill |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a nonplastic mixing bowl (beet juice may stain some plastic). Stir and cover. 2. Chill 4 hours. |
