A recipe from TAZO Tea and . These sound different - I haven't tried them, but they sound good. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups water |
1/3 cup sugar |
4 tea bags of tazo awake black tea |
2 cups pecan halves |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
1 teaspoon sea salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. 2. Mix water and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a medium saucepan. 3. Add tea bags, and bring to boil on medium-high heat. Add pecan halves; cook 3 minutes. Pour into strainer; place pecans in a medium bowl. Discard the liquid and tea bags. 4. Add remaining sugar and zest to pecans; toss to coat. Spread onto a parchment or foil-lined 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan (or baking sheet). 5. Bake for 18 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Add salt to taste and mix lightly. Cool completely. |
