quick and easy dessert salsa. Serve with pound cake, angelfood, or ice cream. Goes well with my apple and mint jelly pastries and some ice cream. Quick recipe for pasty: bake phyllo dough triangles with a slice of apple and mint jelly atop. Ingredients:
3 pears, cored and diced |
1/3 cup shredded coconut |
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur or 1/4 cup thawed frozen orange juice concentrate |
2 tablespoons chopped mint |
Directions:
1. Combine pears, coconut, liqueur and mint. Let stand 20 minutes. Serve over cake or ice cream.
