I love the spicy version which tastes like curry puff eventhou everyones seems to enjoy the sweet one . Ingredients:
badusha |
1 1/2 c all purpose flour |
3 tbsp vegetable shortening |
pinch of baking pwd |
5 tsp yogurt |
syrup |
1 c water and 1/2 c sugar with pinch of cardamom .... boiled until string consistency |
Directions:
1. Mix everything and form a dough . 2. Roll into rectangular shape . 3. Cut into pieces and fold both sides and join the ends , 4. Fry them . 5. Dip in the Syrup . 6. ................................................................................................................... 7. Alternatively , Omit the sugar syrup and 8. Make your fave spicy filling and keep in the center before folding and then fry |
