It's title says it all.... (although it is sweet onions, not sweet pudding... lol) Ingredients:
6 large eggs |
2 cups whipping cream |
1 (3 ounce) package shredded parmesan cheese |
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine |
6 medium sweet onions, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Stir together eggs, cream and Parmesan cheese in a large bowl, blending well. 2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; gradually stir into egg mixture. 3. Set aside. 4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onions. 5. Cook, stirring often, 30 to 40 minutes or until caramel colored. 6. Remove from heat. 7. Stir onions into egg mixture; then spoon into a lighty greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. 8. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until pudding is set. |
