An easy and delicious Martha Stewart recipe! (Cooking time = chill time.) Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 vidalia onions, finely chopped |
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream |
2 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese |
1 1/2 teaspoons white wine vinegar |
1/4 cup chives, finely chopped |
coarse salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil over medium heat in large skillet. 2. Add onions and season with salt and pepper. 3. Cook until golden brown, stirring frequently. (12-15 min.). 4. Let cool. 5. In a medium bowl, combine onions, sour cream, cream cheese, vinegar, and chives; season with salt and pepper. 6. Chill until slightly thickened, about 1 hour; or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days. 7. Serve with chips. |
