This snappy cabbage slaw has a sweet, tangy dressing flavored with mustard and celery seeds. Ingredients:
1/2 cup splenda® no calorie sweetener, granulated |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1/4 cup cold water |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon mustard seed |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
8 cups shredded cabbage |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper |
1 tablespoon chopped pimento pepper |
Directions:
1. In a jar with lid, combine SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, vinegar, water, salt, mustard seed and celery seed. Cover tightly and shake vigorously until sugar is dissolved. Chill dressing for several hours or overnight. 2. In a large bowl, toss together the cabbage, celery, green peppers, pimento and dressing until evenly coated. Cover and chill until serving. |
