2 tablespoons butter or margarine |
1 small onion, diced |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup water |
1/4 cup beef broth |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules |
2 tablespoons rice vinegar |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add onion, and sauté 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in 1/2 cup ketchup and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
