My lovey happens to be particular about his cornbread, particularly the moistness and sweetness. This one has proved to be a winner over and over again. Pretty darn sweet and definitely moist, I hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup cornmeal |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/4 cups cream or 1 1/4 cups milk |
2 large eggs, beaten |
1/3 cup olive oil |
4 tablespoons butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients and medium bowl. 2. Combine the rest of the ingredients and add to dry ingredients until just blended (there will still be some lumps.). 3. Pour into a greased 8 inch pan. 4. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. 5. Enjoy! |
