Sweet Heat Caribbean Rib Sauce |

I make this to serve over smoked ribs but it works on other meats just as well Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
1 1/2 cups ketchup |
1 cup red currant jelly |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1 tablespoon reduced soduim soy sauce |
1/4 teaspoon red pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a small saucepan, add onions and cook until tender, add in all remaining Ingriedients and Simmer on meduim low heat about 20 minutes. Slather on ribs, or your choice of meat! |
