Sweet Heat Caribbean Rib Sauce

I make this to serve over smoked ribs but it works on other meats just as well
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup red currant jelly
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon reduced soduim soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a small saucepan, add onions and cook until tender, add in all remaining Ingriedients and Simmer on meduim low heat about 20 minutes. Slather on ribs, or your choice of meat!
