These Triple-Chocolate berry delights will have you thinking it's Valentine's Day already. Ingredients:
1 box triple chocolate fudge cake mix (i was lazy tonight) |
3 eggs |
1 tbspn vanilla extract |
1 cup butter |
2 tbspns whole milk (none of that 2% crap!) |
1/3 cup dark brown sugar |
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar plus more for topping |
1 small can strawberry cake filling |
2 tbspns honey |
heart-shaped reynold's cupcake tins |
sprinkles or decorating sugar (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a large mixing bowl, blend together cake mix, milk, eggs, butter, vanilla and sugars, working the lumps out.
3. Put into tins about halfway, batter will be thick.
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
5. Mix together strawberry filling and honey, adding a little confectioner's sugar if desired.
6. Remove cupcakes from oven and let cool slightly before smearing the strawberry-honey mixture generously onto the tops.
7. Garnish each cupcake with confectioner's sugar, sprinkles and/or decorating sugar if desired.
8. They's so yummy, they's bound to get you laid.
