My mom use to make this for me and now when I eat out and order coleslaw this is secretly how I hope it will come out tasting. Ingredients:
1/2 head of cabbage |
3 tbs. mayo |
1 sm. can of pine apple chunks |
1/2 a red apple |
1 tsp. sugar |
2 tbs. golden raisins |
1 tbs. sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Shred the cabbage 2. in large bowl add shredded cabbage 3. drain pineapple but leave about 1tsp. to drizzle in the coleslaw 4. cut pineapple chunks in half 5. add to cabbage 6. chop apple in small chunks 7. add to cabbage and pineapple 8. add the mayo 9. add the sugar 10. add the raisins 11. add the almonds 12. add the reserve pineapple juice 13. mix well 14. let it sit in refrigerator until cold |
