Prep: 5 minutes Stand: 1 hour Bake: 5 minutes per batch Ingredients:
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons cornmeal |
dash of salt |
1/4 cup margarine, melted |
2 egg whites, lightly beaten |
vegetable cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients. Add margarine and egg whites; stir well. Cover and let stand 1 hour. (Batter will be thin.) 2. Spoon batter by level teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto cookie sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400° for 5 minutes or until edges are browned. Let cool on cookie sheets 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets. Let cool completely on wire racks. |
