This is a great cornbread recipe. We make this all the time to eat with many things. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/2 cup cornmeal |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 1/4 cups milk |
2 eggs |
1/3 cup oil |
3 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square pan. 2. Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In a small bowl combine wet ingredients and mix well. 3. Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and stir until just blended. 4. Pour into baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. |
