These have been a must in our home during Christmas for 40 years. Quantity will depend on the pattern used on the cookie press/shooter. Ingredients:
2 cups unsalted butter |
1 cup white sugar |
5 cups all-purpose flour |
2 egg yolks |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Cream together the butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla. Add sifted flour one half at a time. 2. Put dough into a cookie press and press into desired shapes. 3. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 10 minutes. Do Not Brown. |
